By accessing or using the Cyfotok Labs platform (“Service”), operated by Cyfotok Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Cyfotok Labs is an online cybersecurity training platform that provides hands-on labs, learning paths, certifications, and related educational content. The platform offers simulated environments for practicing offensive and defensive cybersecurity techniques in a controlled, authorized setting.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
When using the Service, you agree that you will NOT:
- Use any skills, techniques, or tools learned on the platform against systems, networks, or individuals without explicit written authorization.
- Attempt to breach, exploit, or attack Cyfotok Labs infrastructure or other users' accounts.
- Share, distribute, or sell lab solutions, flags, or answers to other users.
- Use the platform for any illegal activity or to facilitate illegal activities.
- Automate interactions with the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.) without prior written consent.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service beyond what is part of the training exercises.
- Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code outside of designated lab environments.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Plans and Billing
- The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis.
- All payments are processed through Razorpay. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5.2 Refunds
- We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions. To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase.
- Refunds are not available after the 7-day period or if your account has been suspended for violating these Terms.
5.3 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice to existing subscribers.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on the platform, including labs, tutorials, code, documentation, and certifications, is the intellectual property of Cyfotok Labs and is protected by copyright law.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without prior written permission.
- Your account, progress data, and earned certifications remain associated with your account and are non-transferable.
7. Certifications and Badges
- Certifications and badges earned through the platform are issued by Cyfotok Labs and represent completion of specific training objectives.
- We do not guarantee that certifications will be recognized by any third-party organization or employer.
- We reserve the right to revoke certifications if obtained through fraud or violation of these Terms.
8. Lab Environments
- Lab environments are provided “as-is” and are intended solely for educational purposes.
- You may only interact with lab environments as directed by the lab instructions. Attempting to escape, pivot, or attack infrastructure outside the lab scope is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to monitor and log all activity within lab environments for security and quality purposes.
9. College and Enterprise Accounts
- College and enterprise accounts are governed by separate agreements in addition to these Terms.
- Administrators of college accounts are responsible for ensuring their students comply with these Terms.
- Bulk license seats are non-transferable without prior approval.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cyfotok Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
The Service is provided for educational purposes only. We are not responsible for any misuse of knowledge or skills acquired through the platform.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
12. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the platform, its users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
